Walk through the doors of the center, and take a fascinating look at local history, art, and “discovery” education. Information Center – Obtain maps and information about Wakulla County. Educational and History Display – Learn what makes the environment in Wakulla County unique, and what gives it a special place in America’s history. Coastal Art Gallery – Absorb the art of nature as interpreted by various artists.

Step outside to the deck overlooking Dickerson Bay and experience the natural world of Wakulla. Enjoying a panoramic view of sky pine forests, salt marsh and bays. Watch a stately heron foraging in the shallows. Let the warm gulf breezes blow your cares away. Nature Trail - Hike coast forests and hardwood hammocks along the bay. Canoe and Kayak Ramp - Do more that walk the wild lands …. Paddle the creeks to beautiful Dickerson Bay. Bird Watching - See eagles, ospreys, wading birds, herons, and warblers.
